After some serious listening, we begin by gathering estimates from trusted professionals in the building trade, including architects, stone masons, plumbers, electricians, painters and landscape designers. Once the team is assembled, we will oversee schedules and budgets and follow through the work to completion.

Caroline Gigandet, Burgundy Home & Services founder, has experience meeting all renovation challenges. She has transformed an 18th century manor house near Meursault into gracious and convenient living space and turned a cramped, stone town house in the center of Beaune into a contemporary, open-plan pied à terre.

More than anything, Caroline likes to follow-through a real estate project from first contact to move-in, seeing the property evolve in line with the client's wishes. "I love the charm of old stone and those homes that, as soon as you pass the garden gate and climb the front steps, you know you've found something special,” she says. "When I find that perfect property I enjoy working with my clients on renovations, extensions and decoration, discussing their expectations and wishes. The project evolves with each step: having sketched ideas for living spaces or kitchen requirements we go to 3D plans, then onto the choice of materials such as flooring, woodwork and paint colours. It's so rewarding to see the transformations.”
